AD-01:Toshiki Kai (1st Deck)

Anime Deck Vol.01: Toshiki Kai (1st Deck)

from Ride 1-19. All Units from this list were seen in the anime. And i calculated how many specific cards of the Units Kai owns, from rewatching the anime.

Toshiki Kai, commonly known as the fearsome and the lone owner of Dragonic Overlord. This deck packs a punch due to high power heights. His mains currently reside in (in case you did not manage to drew that grade 3 you wanted, but I will provide a strategy):

1.Dragonic Overlord: Its fearsome skill is the amazing ability to  Stand after succeeding attacking any opponent's Rear Guard (with the cost of losing Twin Drive and 2 Counter Blasts). It was one of the top PvP in the og Vanguard(not reboot V series). 

2. Vortex Dragon: Its destructive burst is the fearsome ability to destroy up to 3 rear guards from Kai's opponent's field (with the costly charge of 5 Counter Blasts though). However, at every turn, it Counter Charges 1 if its KI's Vanguard, which is amazing as it help give available costs for ally Rear Guards/ Vanguard's abilities to take affect easily.

3. Embodiment of Victory, Aleph: This one is my personal favourite. You get to Superior Ride at any turn even if you're on the second turn. It is also agreat asset if Kai is going first,which you can attack the weak Grade 1 Vanguard easily, as you can see from anime during the National Qualifiers . This Superior Ride ability activates if Kai's Vanguard is Dragon Knight,Aleph and your Rear Guards consist of at least Embodiment of Spear, Tahr and Embodiment of Armor, Bahr. NOT ONLY THAT, ITS ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION OF AN ABILITY, TO GAIN EXTRA +3000 Power AND +1 Critical (with the cost of 4 Counter Blasts). THX TO THE SUPERIOR RIDE, KAI IS ABLE TO PERFORM THE SAME THING AGAIN, by Soul Blasting the said Ebodiments from his Soul, Counter Charging all cards in his Damage Zone.

THESE 3 PACK A GREAT PUNCH AS VANGUARDS. ITS UP TO YOU ON WHICH STRATEGY YOU PLAY. This deck consists of tanky high Power/Defence Units for Kai to play safely, now its yours to pick.

When using this deck, make sure to tank hits so there are available damage costs for the main 3's abilities.

X4 Dragonic Overlord (Reason said Above)

X1 Vortex Dragon (Reason said above)

X1 Embodiment of Victory, Aleph (Reason said above)

X1 Dragon Monk, Goku (Random unit Kai put in his deck)

X1 Demonic Dragon Berserker, Yaksha (For Kai to choose if he wants to superior ride for Twin Drive)

2nd Grade:

X3 Dragon Knight, Nehalem (Kai's main power fortress build)

X1 Dragon Knight, Aleph (for Kai's ability to Superior Ride from the Deck)

X3 Dragon Armoured Knight (Not seen in Anime, but Manga. Alternate Highest Power Unit in Kai's Arsenal. Also allows Kai to gain Extra Power with the cost of 1 Counter Blast)

X3 Prowling Dragon, Strike (Not seen in Anime, but in Manga. Prevents Kai attacking his Vanguard but gives him extra power and +1 Critical ON THE NEXT RIDE!!)

X1Berserk Dragon (Allows Kai to destroy an Opponent's Grade 2 or Higher Rear Guard with the cost of 2 Counter Blasts)

X1 Wyvern Strike, Tejas (for Kai to focus on the back Units)

1st Grade: 

X4 Embodiment of Armor, Bahr (Typical strongest power Grade 1 Unit in his deck)

X3 Wyvern Guard, Barri (Sentinel- Perfect Guard)

X1 Dragon Monk Gojo (For Kai to redraw and discard cards he need/don't need)

X1 Flame of Hope, Aermo (Same reason for Gojo)

X1 Wyvern Strike, Jarran (To boost extra power for Wyvern Strike, Tejas)

X1 Dragon Dancer,Lourdes (Not in Anime, but seen in Vanguard Zero. Gives Kai Extra Power if The opponent has 2 or less rear guards)

X1 Scale Dragon of the Magma Cave (Not in Anime but seen in Vanguard Zero. GIVES Kai extra power with the cost of 1 counter Blast)

Grade 0:

X2 Lizard Runner, Undeux (His runner up. Idk why he has two, prob for high guarding? Idk)

X4 Embodiment of Spear, Tahr (Critical Triggars-Gives a Unit +1 Critical Damage. Also a great asset for his Embodiment setup)

X4 Dragon Dancer, Monica (Draw Trigger-Draw a card)

X4 Lizard Solider, Ganlu (Stand Trigger-Stands a Unit)

X4 Dragon Monk, Genjo (Heal Trigger-Heals 1 Damage)
