AD-14: Toshiki Kai (2nd Deck)

[DISCLAIMER: Dragonic Overlord's Card is Unavailable, so I'm using a substitute one. Take note that the abilities of the substitute card are ignored and mainly refer to the original one.]

Anime Deck Vol. 14: Toshiki Kai (Second Deck) RIDE 20-RIDE 43

Toshiki Kai in the Nationals, is mainly focused on his unstoppable Onslaught of Dragon Souls Deck, which consists of diff mains to rely on, with the risk of tanking hits up to 5 Damages. He would announce "FINAL TURN!!" And you knew he isn't joking when he said that xD. Thanks to the Damage Zone, all conditions from his Mains' Abilities are lifted, meaning he could activate as much abilities he could as possible, increasing a tremendous amount of Power and Crits with his battlefield synergy.

His main strategy is Blazing Flare Dragon. Kai uses him for the benefit of extra Power gained for each opponent's rear guard destruction/retired. With the combination of Vortex Dragon and his other rear guard abilities, Kai's vanguard would gain up to 25,000 Atk Power!!! [Don't forget the Twin Drive ;)] Not only that, Kai could also be SUPERIOR RIDE! IT'S the same effect as Dragon Knight Aleph's, which consisted of certain Units in Rear Guards. Kai would gain an upperhand for early twin drive even in the 2nd turn. It also works best at the 1st turn, which would attack against the weaker Grade 1 Opponent's Vanguard. However knowing he would win with that easily, Kai doesn't Superior ride and went easy on his opponent, giving him the chance to put a fight or make the match exciting xD lol.

Kai's Deck consist of:

Grade 3:

X1 Dragon Monk, Goku (Allows Kai to retire one of opponent's Grade 1 or Lesser Rear Guards if he drew a grade 3 during a Twin Drive when it is his Vanguard)

X2 Blazing Flare Dragon (Said Above Reason)

X1 Dragonic Vanisher (Allows Kai to gain extra power for this unit if he has more Rear Guards than his opponent)

X1 Exile Dragon (Allows Kai to destroy one of opponent's rear guards by sacrificing this unit on the battlefield)

x1 Crested Dragon (No Ability)

X2 Dragonic Overlord (His Plan B if he is unable to get Blazing Flare Dragon. Dragonic Overlord allows him to ATTACK EACH FRONT REAR GUARD AND STANDING AGAIN with the cost of Counter Blasts 3 and losing Twin Drive)

X2 Dual Axe Archdragon (It works best as assistance as it gains extra Power if the opponent has less than or equal to 2 rear guards

X1 Vortex Dragon (Said above reason)

Grade 2:

X2 Blazing Core Dragon (Same abilities as Dragon Knight,Aleph, allowing to Superior ride by sending specific Units into the soul)

X2 Dragon Knight, Nehalem (Kai's highest Power Grade 2 Unit in his Arsenal)

X2 Flaming Edge Dragon (Its a great card and allows Kai to Counter Charge whenever it attacks)

X1 Chain-attack Sutherland (Also increases power whenever Kai destroys a Rear Guard during his Main Phase)

×1 Wyvern Strike, Gyuntulu (Allows Kai to gain extra Power for this unit if he has more rear guards than his opponent)

X1 Bellicosity Dragon (Allows Kai to Counter Charge)

Grade 1:

X2 Iron Tail Dragon (One of Kai's Superior Ride's Spefic Units. It gains Extra Power with the cost of 1 Counter-Blast)

X3 Wyvern Guard, Barri (Sentinel-Perfect Guard by discarding 1 Card)

X1 Follower, Reas (Allows Kai to gain extra Power  when boosting his Chain-attack Sutherland)

X2 Demonic Dragon Mage, Kimnara (Destroys Opponent's Rear Guard with the cost of putting into Kai's Soul and 1 Counter Blast)

X1 Demonic Dragon Madonna, Joka (Allows Kai to gain extra Power for this Unit when he destroys a monster with card effects during his Main Phase)

X2 Embodiment of Armor, Bahr (Kai's Highest Power Grade 1 in his Arsenal)

Grade 0:

X1 Lizard Soldier, Conroe (Kai's Forerunner Up Unit. It has the ability to find any Grade 1 or less card!!)

X4 Embodiment of Spear, Tahr (Critical Trigger-Gains +1 Critical)

X2 Demonic Dragon Mage, Rakshasa (Critical Trigger-Gains +1 Critical)

X2 Blue Ray Dracokid (Critical Trigger-Gains +1 Critical)

X4 Gattling Claw Dragon (One of Kai's Superior Ride's Specific Units. Draw Trigger-Draws a card)

X4 Dragon Monk,Genjo (Heal Trigger-Heals 1 Damage)
