Chronojet Dragon (D)
Deck Description
Decklist for the upcoming Chronojet Dragon deck coming out on February 23rd taking heavy inspiration from a JP player.
You run 5 grade 3 (4 excluding Chronojet in Ride Deck) due to the huge searchability grade 3s allowing for more grade 2 and 1 cards, but since the deck also Strides as it's primary mechanic, there won't be a real reason to invest the deck heavily into Grade 3s.
You don't ride Chronojet upon Chronojet in this deck as Chronojet has no persona ride instead you use Chronojet Dragon as fodder to Stride into your G Unit Chronodragon Nextage which is your boss monster for this deck.
Other than Nextage you also have Interdimensional Dragon, Faterider Dragon. Which I would highly recommend that you Stride into first as it allows for Generation Break 2 to happen as early as possible, but also allow you to recycle cards and call other possibly stronger cards, like e.g. Faterider Skill, target Steam Scara, Gigi, put Gigi into bottom of deck, Superior Call unit with +1 grade from deck, target Upstream Dragon, Call Upstream. and then you do some stuff with Upstream due to Generation Break 2 and once you're done Upstream skill activates putting it back into the deck calling a grade 1, personally I would call Brainwash Swirler, but overall you could also call Gigi again if you wanna SB2 to draw 1. (Note About Gigi: if you call her with Upstream she will gain 5K Power allowing for 13K unit to attack/boost if needed)
Anyways, back to Chronodragon Nextage, once you attack with it Generation Break 2, Discard 2, CB1 and put Nextage into G-Zone face up to then stand a rest Chronojet Dragon Vanguard allowing for a strong 2-hit combo that can lead to win, by itself.
Also, Steam Breath Dragon should never be called unless you wanna recycle it into the deck, change 1 of the PG into Elementaria Sanctitude if you feel like that's fitting, and if you're on a budget, feel free to switch triggers to budget triggers and Swirler into an extra 3 copies of Gungnram and 1 of Amazement Magician. All you're gonna lose on the change is a bit of pressure that the deck needs, but ultimately does **not** rely on. (though in hindsight you do kinda also get more draw power which isn't actually that big of a deal since you run 4 Gigi)
(For the Overdress players who don't know what Generation Break means, it's a requirement for certain effects that is fufilled when the required amount of Face Up G-Units in the G-Zone/VC matches the number mentioned after "Generation Break")
(G-Units are obviously, 4 Nextage and 4 Faterider and the Chronojet Dragon Crest is somewhere)
