Deck Description

(Refer to my other deck for basic play style.) I tried another Bug build that only has 3 attacks, but that won't matter when your opponent misses their first twin drive or persona ride. Yeah, you heard correctly. Kingfisher Hug keeps your opponent's vanguard from standing. It takes 2 damage and another copy of the order in hand, so you'll likely only get it once, but one cripple like this should be all you need to finish them. I don't know if another ride on the vc allows it to stand, so that's a ruling question for the reputable judges (not those narcissistic self-proclaimed ones at your locals who'll make up anything on the spot just to win), but I assume not. Otherwise, what would be the point?

On top of that, Rolling Driver gives Zero to Hero Beetle +1 crit, and drive if you have a copy in hand. Ordinarily, they'd just be able to pg your vanguard attack and manage the damage your rgs deal, but that's kinda hard when they can't have cards (feel free to compliment my freestyle in the comments below, yo). Unlike the edits to my previous build, Kingfisher Hug will stay at 4 copies because stopping the opponent's vg on the right turn is pretty much your win condition with this one.

One of the Beetles' biggest strengths is that, because they need so much damage to do all their stuff, you don't have to start guarding until you hit 3 damage. Take every attack you can until you hit that magic number, then just deny your opponent the right to live.
