DOTE is slightly underwhelming due to his skill being locked behind turn 4. However, he can still be strong with the right cards to enable his potency when attacking. Tribash is a good card to help give DOTE the much needed crit pressure. The new card Burning Horn also helps you to dig for DOTE. However, if you are unable to hit DOTE, you can still go for DO for persona ride. DO can still work as a good rear guard to get rid of pesky rears in the meta. For e.g Lagrele, any Vairina variants and so on. Because this deck requires a lot of counterblasts, more copies of Gojo are welcomed. There are 2 card slots that can be flexed and currently I'm running Ethan because it countercharges and helps me to draw. In conclusion, DOTE could still work as a mid-tier deck. However, because of how fast meta decks can come online now, I don't think that he is competitively viable.
